Mission:
Friends of the Wynwood School of Music is dedicated to transforming lives by providing high-quality, personalized music education. Through scholarships and comprehensive educational support, we empower students to excel creatively, academically, and in their future careers. Our mission is to nurture the next generation of artists, leaders, and visionaries, using the transformative power of music to inspire and elevate.
Background & Why:
Friends of the Wynwood School of Music, founded in 2024, passionately advocates for the transformative power of music education to enhance and enrich the lives of students. Committed to eliminating financial barriers, our organization provides comprehensive scholarships for one-on-one and ensemble music training at Wynwood School of Music, enabling students to master a variety of musical genres and critical skills. We partner with local schools across Miami-Dade County to offer these opportunities to 50 deserving inner-city students each year, focusing on those from underprivileged backgrounds. Our programs are designed to not only boost musical proficiency but also foster personal growth, academic improvement, and readiness for future educational and career challenges.
